For the past 15 years, Acorn Productions has stimulated the artistic growth of the Greater Portland area by inspiring hundreds of people to try their hands at acting or playwrighting. The list of active members of our theater community who got their start at Acorn would fill a page. Each year, we continue to add educational and training programs to our profile in order to enhance the opportunities we provide people of all ages and ability levels to involve themselves in the arts.

We hope the list of 10 irreplaceable programs we offer to Greater Portland residents will be compelling enough to for you to make a small contribution of $16 to our fall fundarising campaign--one dollar for each year of our existence (though larger donations are always appreciated).  If everyone on our list participates, we will easily raise our $1,500 we rely on each fall to keep our free and low-cost programs viable, as well as allowing us to maintain reasonable ticket prices for all our events.
