We know many of you are having to make tough choices about how to allocate what seems like ever-dwindling financial resources. Perhaps making a donation to Acorn Productions seems like a luxury you can not afford at the moment. But if you or someone you know is one of the many members of our community who benefit from the programs offered by Acorn, we ask you to consider providing some financial support for our work.
We hope the list of 10 irreplaceable programs we offer to Greater Portland residents will be compelling enough to for you to make a small contribution – as little as $10 (one for each reason) does make a difference (though larger donations are always appreciated). If everyone on our list participates, we will easily raise the $10,000 we rely on each season to keep our free and low-cost programs viable, as well as allowing us to maintain reasonable ticket prices for all our events.
