ACTING FOR ORDINARY PEOPLE
An introductory course for everyone
taught by Rachel Flehinger
Tuesday nights from 7 to 9 p.m. (cost: $150)
If you’ve ever wondered what an actor does, this is the class for you! This class creates a fun and safe environment for beginning students looking to gain confidence in their public presentation skills while taking some first steps into acting. Students in the class will use monologues to explore the basic choices an actor must make while working on a role. The emphasis will be on doing -- students will be performing in class regularly throughout the semester. No experience necessary!

CONTINUING ACTING
taught by Michael Howard
Wednesday nights from 7 to 9 p.m. (cost: $150)
This class focuses on continuing to develop your actor's toolbox in a creative and nurturing environment. Students will use both scripted monologues and scenes to work on listening, giving and reacting to your fellow actors while sharpening your ability to tap into your instinct and be in the moment on stage. The class is designed for students with some acting experience.

WRITER'S IMPROV
taught by Michael Levine
Thursday nights from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. (cost: $180)

Students in this class will use well-known improvisation forms to assist playwrights in fleshing out their ideas for new plays as well as fine-tuning scripts that may not be fully complete/ Each week, four playwrights will provide scenarios for the students to play with under the direction of the instructor. The class will culminate with an evening of staged readings of the work produced by the students.
